Summer Camp Programs
June 5 – June 8 and June 12 – 15, 2017
LSVI ORIENTATION & MOBILITY SUMMER CAMPS:
Once again, LSVI is offering one-week summer camp opportunities for students entering grades 2 through 12. Camp for students entering grades 2-6 will be June 5–June 8. Camp for students entering grades 7-12 will be June 12–15, 2017.
These camps offer students a variety of orientation and mobility and expanded core curriculum experiences in a socially enriched program with their peers from around the state. Parish students are also invited to attend our Summer Enrichment program for an additional two weeks. Summer Enrichment occurs during the first three weeks of June. This program focuses on academic enrichment in areas such as Braille and technology as well as on LEAP/EOC remediation. Parish students also participate with LSVI students in after-school activities. Students may attend both the camp and the enrichment sessions. Travel is usually available from most areas of Louisiana.
