June 8th - June 13th -- Orientation and Mobility -- Independent Living Skills
Basic O and M skills, route travel, public transportation, travel safety, and street crossing skills will be the focus of this camp.
All aspects of cleaning, eating, cooking, and meal planning and preparation dominate this week's program.
July 6th - July 11th -- Transportation/Finding Wheels -- Recreation and Leisure Skills
Effective use of public transportation; curriculum for non-drivers with visual impairments for gaining control of transportation needs.
Blue Bayou Water Park, horseback riding, bowling, SCUBA diving, Celebration Station and table games are just a few of the activities planned for this week.
