Holidays and Early Dismissal Dates

The school is closed every weekend and all students must return home. The following Fridays are scheduled as early dismissal days. Classes will end at 12:00 noon and all students are dismissed at that time. On all Fridays not listed, classes will end at 2:15 p.m. and all students are dismissed at that time. Parents of students not riding buses should note these dismissal times. Your cooperation is appreciated. If you have questions, please call (225) 342-4756.

Opening Day

Classes will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2007.

All students are required to go home on the following holidays:

Labor Day

All classes will end at 2:15 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2007. Weekly and daily parish buses will pick up students at 2:15 p.m. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007. (Travel will take place on Monday, September 3, 2007).

Fall Break

All classes will end at 12:00 noon, Thursday, October 11, 2007. Weekly and daily parish buses will pick up students at 12:00 noon. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2007. (Travel will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2007).

Thanksgiving

All classes will end at 12:00 noon, Friday, November 16, 2007. Weekly and daily parish buses will pick up students at 12:00 noon. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2007. (Travel will take place on Sunday, November 25, 2007).

Christmas

All classes will end at 12:00 noon, Friday, December 21, 2007. Weekly and daily parish buses will pick up students at 12:00 noon. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008. (Travel will take place on Sunday, January 6, 2008).

Mardi Gras

All classes will end at 12:00 noon, Friday, February 1, 2008. Weekly and daily parish buses will pick up students at 12:00 noon. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2008. (Travel will take place on Sunday, February 10, 2008).

Easter

All classes will end at 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 20, 2008. Weekly and daily parish buses will pick up students at 12:00 noon. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008. (Travel will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2008).

Senior Graduation

Senior Graduation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008. Seniors will be dismissed at this time.

Academic School Year Ends

All remaining students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 23, 2008.

Summer Program 1

Summer program 1 begins Tuesday, May 27, 2008 until June 26, 2008. The summer program runs Monday thru Thursday with students being pick up on Sundays and returning home on Thursdays. (Students will be picked up on Monday, May 26, 2008 for the start of summer program 1).
